Description
A single open hoop of hand-woven silver filigree, traced like the veins of a petal, holds a tassel of handwoven horsehair bound with Moroccan silk. Light and architectural, it sways as you move, and the flexible structure lets you simplify it into a delicate silver hoop. White or black horsehair, with orange or silver silk.
The silver is hand-woven by Miao/Hmong silversmiths using traditional filigree, the Chilean horsehair is woven by hand, and Moroccan silk binds them together: three crafts from distant hands, met in one piece. 99% fine silver, matte white: fired, never plated. Designed in Paris for the Distant Hands collection.

Care
Most CUNZU pieces are made of 99% silver with our signature matte white finish. This matte surface is the natural state of pure silver after high-temperature firing. It is not a plating or coating.
As you wear it, the silver will gradually polish to a bright shine, or oxidise and darken. Both are natural. Pure silver oxidises slowly over time, and this cannot be avoided.
Store your pieces in a sealed bag or airtight space to slow oxidation. If the silver darkens, use a silver cleaning solution or polishing cream. Soak the piece in cleaning solution for one minute, rinse with clean water, then dry, ideally with a hair dryer. The silver will return to a bright finish.
Horsehair care: remove the horsehair elements and wipe gently with a damp cloth. Avoid soaking horsehair in water.
