Description
Two round horsehair flowers, one large and one small, are joined by traditional Miao plum blossom silver studs. Both studs and flowers detach: remove the lower flower to wear them as studs, or take everything apart for easy cleaning.
Along the Journey follows the Miao migration routes all the way to the Andes, where Mapuche herders weave the manes of their horses into delicate patterns. Here the horsehair flowers are handwoven by Chilean artisans and joined to plum blossom fittings in matte white 925 silver, a traditional Miao motif: a dialogue across continents, designed in Paris.

Care
This piece is made of 925 silver with our signature matte white finish. The matte surface comes from high-temperature firing. It is not a plating or coating.
As you wear it, the silver will gradually polish to a bright shine, or oxidise and darken. Both are natural. Silver oxidises slowly over time, and this cannot be avoided.
Store your pieces in a sealed bag or airtight space to slow oxidation. If the silver darkens, use a silver cleaning solution or polishing cream. Soak the piece in cleaning solution for one minute, rinse with clean water, then dry, ideally with a hair dryer. The silver will return to a bright finish.
Horsehair care: remove the horsehair elements and wipe gently with a damp cloth. Avoid soaking horsehair in water.
